Temporary Traffic Lights in Inverness removed over Christmas Holidays

The temporary traffic lights which have been in place since last month on the Southern Distributor Road will be removed until work on constructing the new roundabout begins again in the New Year.

The new roundabout is being built to provide access to the proposed new Gaelic Medium Primary School at Slackbuie. The project involves the construction of a new roundabout between the existing roundabouts which are located on the SDR/Slackbuie Road junction and SDR / Culduthel Road junction.

The lights will be back in operation on Monday 9 January and are expected to remain in place until the works end in mid February.
