Invitation to join Countryside Ranger for a Fyrish folly

Enjoy a hike up to the Fyrish monument near Evanton next week with the Highland Council Countryside Rangers.

The walk, which takes place on Thursday 6 October from 10am to 3pm, will look at the natural history and human history while taking in the views of Easter Ross and beyond.

Depending on the weather the group, which will be led by Ranger Jenny Grant,  will also endeavour to visit Little Fyrish and Creag Rhuadh follies as well.

The cost of the guided walk is £4.50 for adults, £3.50 for concessions and £15 for families and places should be booked in advance by telephoning 01463 255291. Details of where to meet up will be given at the time of booking.
