Consultation on the development of Inverness East area
Boundary Map
A new consultation has been launched about how development in the east of Inverness should happen. The Inverness East Development Brief will set out the detail for sites already earmarked for development in the Local Development Plan. It will identify what types of development should go where to help create a successful place to live and work. This will include a range of development types as well as parks, active travel links and new facilities. A series of workshops have been planned for Wednesday 16 November 2016 at the University of the Highlands and Islands’ Beechwood Campus in Inverness, details of this event will be publicised soon.
We would like to know what people think about the area now and in the future. An online survey has been launched today to give people early opportunity to tell the Council how the east of Inverness performs now and what changes would improve things in the future when growth happens.
You can tell us what you think about the area and how it should grow on our Consultation Portal.
