Update: A82 re-opened at Tomnahurich Bridge, Inverness

The A82 has re-opened at Tomnahurich Bridge, Inverness.

Earlier delays to in-bound traffic to Inverness on the A82 have now been lifted with the introduction of stop-go traffic signals.

The Highland Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Pedestrian and cycle access has been maintained at all times.

The delays to works were caused by unexpected difficulties encountered during carriageway reconstruction. The Council is reviewing the programme of overnight closures to avoid any repeat of this morning’s disruption.
