‘Have your say’ community conversation event visits Arisaig

The Lochaber Community Planning Partnership are holding their second ‘Market Place’ event where people (living and/or working) in communities in Lochaber have a chance to have their say about what matters most to them in their community.  The Partnership is keen to hear from people about what is important in their community in terms of services and facilities and any concerns or issues affecting their community to help with priority setting.  The market place also offers people the opportunity to find out what agencies and organisations are doing in their area and how they might be able to help - ‘information stands’ will be manned by representatives from a range of partners.

The event is open to everyone and people can drop into the Astley Hall, Arisaig anytime from 4pm – 6pm on Tuesday 22nd November 2016.  At 6pm the same day for ½ hour,  there will be a short round up of the discussion with partners and interested community members – all are welcome.  This session also incorporates the short Annual General Meeting of the Lochaber Partnership.

Partners who will be in attendance include; Highland Council (Employability, Waste and Children’s and Family Services), NHS Highland, Voluntary Action Lochaber, Lochaber Chamber of Commerce, West Highland College UHI, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Business Gateway, Skills Development Scotland, Highlife Highland, Job Centre/DWP, Commission on Highland Democracy, and Technology Enabled Care.
