Gaelic Fun in Newtonmore

A mystery guest paid a surprise visit to the Gaelic Fun afternoon at Newtonmore Primary School last Thursday.  Peppa Pig was warmly welcomed by the children as Head teacher Mrs Sarah Fraser took her to visit all the classrooms.

The fun afternoon was aimed at introducing parents and toddlers to the Gaelic provision in the school. It also gave parents an opportunity to ask questions and find out more about Gaelic Medium Education and the benefits of bilingualism. The children also took part in a music and games session plus arts and crafts activities.

Anyone looking for more information about Gaelic Medium Education should e-mail Margaret.Mulholland@highland.gov.uk
