New head teachers appointed
New head teachers have been appointed by The Highland Council.
In the South Area, Jill Strachan, acting head teacher at Smithton Primary was appointed as head teacher at Grantown Primary.
Rhona Bootle was appointed as head teacher for the Abernethy and Deshar Primaries cluster. Both Jill and Rhona are hoping to start in the New Year.
Tracey Fraser-Lee was appointed as new head teacher for Beauly Primary School.
Following a short period as acting head teacher, Georgina Dunbar was recently appointed as head teacher at Kirkhill Primary. Cat Kennedy will take on the role of Acting Head Teacher for Farr Primary from 23 January.
Margaret Lisle has been appointed as acting head teacher at Hilton Primary and Carla Tunnicliffe has been appointed as Acting Head Teacher at Raigmore Primary. Fiona Jamieson has been appointed as Depute Head Teacher for Inshes Primary and Judith Pirie, Deputy Head at Drakies Primary will cover the acting Head Teacher post for the first 2 weeks of the new term.
In Nairn, Lisa Campbell has been appointed as Head Teacher at Rosebank Primary
Also in the Council’s Mid Education Area, Ruth Rooney has been appointed as Head Teacher of Hilton of Cadboll Primary School. Morag Thomson has been appointed as Acting Head Teacher at Kiltearn Primary School and Hazel Munro has been appointed as Acting Head Teacher at Milton Primary School.
