Manners 2
| Gaelic is a very polite language. So polite in fact, that there is no word for 'Please'! But you can use a little phrase that is the equivalent of 'please': |
| | =Download |
| Mas e ur toil e! |
Please! | |
| Mas e do thoil e! |
Please! |
| You could use this in a situation such as asking for someone's name: |
| Ur n-ainm, mas e ur toil e. |
Your name, please. | |
| D' ainm, mas e do thoil e. |
Your name, please. |
