GGW Route Diversion along Loch Oich from the start of December 2022 to Early 2025

Essential forest harvesting work will take place for two years, during which time the main path along Loch Oich will be unavailable to the public. Please use the alternate Invergarry link path instead
Optional alternate route through Invergarry
Please be aware of an optional, alternate route that GGW users can use to travel through Invergarry. This route is slightly shorter and bypasses some of the road walking taken by the regular route.
Route Diversion - North of Fort Augustus
The normal GGW route north of Fort Augustus will be closed over the winter for essential forest harvesting work. A diversion route will have to be followed to bypass this.
