BID Fort William
A ballot will be held on the arrangements to propose the Business Improvement District (BID) for Fort William for a period of 5 years from 1 December 2024 until 30 November 2029.
The ballot will be conducted entirely by post on behalf of the Ballot Holder and by the Independent Scrutineer, Civica Election Services (CES) of 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW.
A copy of this notice has been issued on Thursday 26 September 2024 by post to all those persons eligible to vote in the ballot and will be those who are eligible non-domestic ratepayers within the geographical area of the Fort William BID area.
Ballot papers will be sent on Thursday 3 October 2024 to those eligible to vote, for return to CES by no later than 5pm on Thursday 21 November 2024.
Frequently Asked Questions on the Ballot can be viewed here and will assist voters on how to request a proxy or apply for a replacement ballot paper if it has not been received or spoilt.
Ballot papers will be counted on Friday 22 November 2024, and the result of the ballot be published thereafter.
