For schools operating the "Cashless payments system"
- You will need your child's Scottish candidate number. Please contact your school if you need a reminder of your child's Scottish candidate number
- Allow 24 hours for the payment to reach the pupil's account. Payments made between 4.30pm Friday and 9am Monday will not appear in the pupil's account until the Tuesday
Other payment methods
Parents or carers who do not have access to a computer to pay online and schools which do not operate the cashless system will still be able to pay by cash or cheque to the school. Cheques should be made payable to The Highland Council.
All secondary schools will have a revaluation unit in a communal area of the school, which will allow pupils to deposit cash or check their meal account balance using a PIN or their Young Scot card. The machine takes notes, £2, £1, 50p, 20p and 10p coins.
