Margaret Donaldson successfully applied for LEADER funding to develop two luxury glamping pods on a plot of land adjacent to her home at Lybster. The pods will each have a standard double bed and double bed settee, small kitchen and dining area, en-suite shower room and underfloor heating. The project aims to augment local tourist accommodation capacity, providing an alternative to B&Bs and the hotel, without having a negative impact to these existing businesses and benefit the local area more generally through increased footfall generating additional spending in the local economy.
