Canal Parks Rugby Project

Update May 2016 

Full planning permission was granted on 25 August 2015.  The Canal Parks Enhancement project was included in The West Link Stage 1 construction contract, awarded to Will Bros, which commenced on the 3 May 2016.

Update May 2015

On 14 April 2015 we submitted a detailed planning application for the Canal Parks Enhancement Project, as part of plans for enhanced sports facilities in the city, made possible with the building of the Inverness West Link.

Update March 2015

The consultation period for comments on the public display is now closed. We would like to thank everyone for their comments which are currently being examined by the design team

Update January 2015

The handout for the public display held on Tuesday 27 January 2015 is now available.

You are invited to submit comments on the project. All comments should be submitted no later than 28 February 2015.

Update December 2014 

On 3 December 2014 we submitted a Proposal of Application Notice to start the planning process for the enhancements to the Highland Rugby Club. This is part of our detailed project plans for sports facilities associated with the West Link.
